In short

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping from China to Uzbekistan means one price per kilogram covers transport, customs clearance, duties and taxes up to the warehouse in Tashkent. With Control-V it takes about 9-10 days by air or 24-26 days by land. Air suits tests and light products; land suits reorders and heavier goods.

Key facts

  • Air DDP: about 9-10 days, China to Tashkent.
  • Land DDP: about 24-26 days, China to Tashkent.
  • Duties and customs are included in the DDP price.
  • You pay on the chargeable weight: the greater of real and volumetric weight.
  • Every piece is counted on arrival; missing or damaged pieces are credited.

Most products sold COD in Central Asia are made in China, and Uzbekistan borders the region's main land routes. Getting goods there is not the hard part. Knowing the real cost before you order is.

This guide explains DDP shipping from China to Uzbekistan: what the price includes, how weight is charged, and when to choose air or land.

What does DDP include?

Under DDP the shipper takes responsibility until the goods reach the destination, duties paid. For you this means:

  • Pick-up from the supplier or the agent's warehouse in China
  • International transport by air or land
  • Customs clearance in Uzbekistan
  • Duties and import taxes
  • Delivery to the fulfillment warehouse in Tashkent

Air or land: which one should you choose?

Transit timeAbout 9-10 daysAbout 24-26 days

Best forTests, light and high-margin productsReorders, heavier or bulky goods
RestrictionsBatteries, liquids, powders, magnets often refusedFewer restrictions

A common pattern: test a product by air, then switch to land once the confirmation and delivery rates are known. Keep enough stock to cover the 24-26 days of the land route.

How is the chargeable weight calculated?

Carriers charge the greater of the real weight and the volumetric weight. The volumetric weight is length × width × height in centimetres, divided by a divisor that the carrier states (often 6,000 for air freight).

Example: a carton of 60 × 40 × 40 cm weighs 12 kg. Its volumetric weight is 96,000 ÷ 6,000 = 16 kg. You pay for 16 kg. Light but bulky products (pillows, plastic toys) cost more than their weight suggests.

How does the sourcing quote work?

  1. 1You send a product link and the quantity.
  2. 2The agent finds the supplier and checks the goods.
  3. 3You receive a quote: unit price × quantity, real and volumetric weight, chargeable weight × price per kg for DDP, and the next departure date.
  4. 4You accept, pay, and follow the shipment: ordered, shipped, in transit, received.

On arrival, every piece is counted. If pieces are missing or damaged, their value (purchase price plus shipping) is credited to your next payout.

Which goods cannot be shipped?

Some goods are refused everywhere (weapons, drugs, counterfeits) and some only by air (lithium batteries, liquids, powders, strong magnets). The full list, with the reasons, is in prohibited goods for Uzbekistan.

Frequently asked questions

How long does shipping from China to Tashkent take?

With DDP, about 9-10 days by air and about 24-26 days by land, from departure to arrival at the warehouse.

Do I need to deal with Uzbek customs?

No. With DDP the shipper clears customs and pays the duties; the price you are quoted already includes them.

Can I ship my own stock instead of using sourcing?

Yes. You can buy from your own supplier and use only the DDP shipping and fulfillment.

Is there a minimum quantity?

Sourcing has a minimum order value; shipping itself is charged by the kilogram. Ask for the current minimum in your quote.

DDP turns shipping into one known number per kilogram. Use air to test fast, land to reorder cheaply, and always check the chargeable weight before you set your price. Then run the numbers in COD landed cost, and send us a product link for a quote.
