In short

Some goods cannot be shipped to Uzbekistan through a DDP fulfillment service at all: weapons, drugs, medicines and supplements, alcohol, tobacco, counterfeits and other regulated items. Others are refused by air but can travel by land: lithium batteries and power banks, liquids and perfumes, powders and strong magnets. Check the list before you order stock.

Key facts

  • Two lists: refused on every route, and refused by air only.
  • Lithium batteries, liquids, powders and magnets: land only.
  • Medicines, supplements and health-claim products: refused.
  • Counterfeits of brands: refused.
  • The current list is shown in your seller space before every sourcing request.

Nothing kills a test faster than a shipment held at the airport. Most problems come from a handful of product types that sellers do not think of as dangerous: a power bank, a perfume, a face powder.

Here is the list of prohibited and restricted goods we apply for shipments from China to Uzbekistan, and why each one is there.

Which goods are refused on every route?

  • Weapons, replicas, ammunition, knives and blades
  • Explosives, fireworks, flammable and aerosol products, lighters
  • Drugs, medicines and food supplements
  • Chemicals
  • Alcohol and tobacco, including e-cigarettes
  • Counterfeits of brands
  • Plants, seeds and fresh products; animals and animal products
  • Currency and precious metals
  • Military equipment; drones and walkie-talkies
  • Pornographic content

Which goods are refused by air but accepted by land?

Lithium batteries, power banks, devices with built-in batteriesNoYesFire risk on aircraft
Liquids, perfumesNoYesLeaks and flammable content
Powders (cosmetics, cleaning)NoYesCannot be identified at screening
Strong magnetsNoYesInterfere with aircraft instruments

Why is the list stricter than the law?

A fulfillment service ships many sellers' goods together. One wrong item can hold the whole consolidated shipment at customs. The list is therefore wider than the strict legal minimum, and it can change when carriers change their rules.

How do you check a product before buying?

  1. 1Look at the product page: battery, liquid, powder or magnet inside?
  2. 2Check the brand: is it a copy of a known brand?
  3. 3Read the current list in your seller space, shown with every sourcing request.
  4. 4When in doubt, send the link and ask before paying.

Frequently asked questions

Can I ship cosmetics to Uzbekistan?

Creams and tools usually yes. Liquids, perfumes and powders go by land only.

Can I ship phones or smartwatches?

Devices with lithium batteries are refused by air and can travel by land.

Are supplements allowed?

No. Medicines and food supplements are refused.

Who updates the list?

We do, when carriers or rules change. The current list is always shown in the seller space.

Check every product against both lists before you buy. A product allowed only by land is not a bad product, it only needs earlier ordering. Read DDP shipping from China to Uzbekistan for transit times, or send us a link to check it.
